Mohawk launch its Ultimate Flex LVT collection to target rental & multifamily residential market
Mohawk Ultimate Flex LVT
As of March 9th, 2023, Mohawk has launched its Ultimate Flex LVT collections to target rental and multifamily residential markets. The UltimateFlex LVT tiles are designed to be a value for money products with 2.0mm thickness and 6mil wear lay. The advantage feature in this LVT is that it has a reinforced fiberglass layer which strengthens the core layer, the result is it has much better performance when it comes to temperature expansion & contractions, a major upgrade to conventional LVT.
It is also designed to be installed by glue down installation, and therefore has lower price points compare to click & lock installations. However, it also made the floor more vulnerable to water penetration as tiles are not jointed by a locking groove.
Overall, this Mohawk LVT product, the UltimateFlex LVT collection is designed to be affordable and are a value for money product that is suitable for rental and multifamily properties.
